On the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the opening of the Museum
and following the recent death of the master potter of Ollerías, we
would like to pay tribute to his memory and remember his work with this
exhibition.

Brotherhoods, or cofradías, were the first social
organisations. Townspeople and villagers became associated,
establishing social rules and providing aid for the needy, and this was
usually connected to a hermitage. They are documented since the 16 th
century.
